I'd like to see PCA check spindle heights on the pre-89 cars. I'd also like to seem them check for offset ball joints and offset strut mounts...

I'd simply settle for a protest mechanism clearly being spelled out in the rules.

Protest a specific part on a specific car.
Post Required Bond (needs to be enough to properly tear down and rebuild protested part/s).
Car is torn down at protestor's expense, if found legal, protestor forfeits entire bond. If found out of compliance, protestor gets bond back and non-compliant part is confiscated and sold on eBay with proceeds going to into a PCA Club Racing Tech Inspection Fund.
