The Oreca cars where awesome machines but it took 30 engineers and ex-F1 drivers to be able to get the most out of them. The cars are now in privateers hands and are having their asses handed to them by the Corvettes and even the lower classed Porsches.

Well to run in the ALMS or at LeMans you have to meet the homologation rules for the ACO. Even if you and I had the technical and engineering know how I don't think it would be legal.

if BMW and Porsche can find loopholes, I think we can too
theres gotta be a bunch of lawyers here that know how to read through rules
