Shuffle steer vs fixed grip steer

Good thread. I was taught to "do what you want" then later to "lock them at 9 & 3 unless turn radius requires a shuffle". I've since locked. I have noticed that new students can be WAY too busy on the wheel, thus I recommend to each one that they try locking into 9 & 3. All the ones that have tried it have liked it. Seems to provide one less thing for folks to be preocupied with, smooths out their turn-in.
