Is this the same Christine Perot that (as I was told) is Ross Perot's daughter?

I met her at VIR last November with the NNJR PCA. She IS fast. And her RUF looks awesome.

Same one. Although the lineage is in question, I've heard grand-daughter now daughter and that there is no direct link but that she's from "old money" whatever that means. Reguardless, you're right she is fast and the car is extreamly awsome.
I've been at several NNJR events that she's attended and I knew she was a fast driver but aparently she's VERY fast. Best of luck to her and the team and hopefully she'll grace a few more NNJR DE events.

Chris Perot is related to Ross Perot, not sure of the relationship.

Unless deamatically improved, she was not that fast in her RGT at VIR. Karl and I easily outran her in our 996s. I was probably 10 seconds a lap faster than her , and 2-3 seconds faster than her boyfriend.

Perhaps they were just "testing out" the car?

I know she was running 2:02 - 2:05 in the Rolex race. This is not fast for a GT3RS.

Guys:

Don't know Christine Perot, but I have seen her at a Riesentoter D.E. Nice car!

She is not one of H. Ross Perot's five children, contrary to popular rumor.

In any case, it's great to have someone like Christine--and Milka Duno, Lilian Bryner & Claudia Heurtgen in Europe, etc.--racing with the big boys.

Chris Perot is racing this weekend once again in the #67 car with John Morton. Talking to Colin Dougherty (Dougherty Automotive Services / DAS Sport System), her fiance, the track is terrific. Very picturesque and recently repaved. Looking to here form them early tomorrow. Chris is a talented driver and her Ruf is an amazing car. FYI, back at the shop we have a red RGT for sale that is similar to Chris's car, but hasn't yet recieved the Dougherty treatment. Chris has committed to doing the Daytona race also for Grand Am, should be a fun time. We'll be posting a collection of race pictures from Chris's events this year at the shop website das-sport.com.
