Default OT: Porsche Script

Does anyone know the name of the font that porsche uses on the engine covers of the newer cars?
TIA

Have you tried the font that Rennlist provides? This may be a "Member's Only" option, not sure...

I have spent DAYS looking for that same font on the internet and have not been successful. Porsche may have trademarked it- I don't know but if anyone has it please let me know too!

I'd be surprised if it isn't a proprietary trademarked font. Your best bet (if you are looking to make a decal) is to take a picture of it and trace it in Adobe Illustrator or a similar vector program, then have the decal cut from the vector graphic.

Hey;

I am not sure which font you are speaking of, but I assume it is the classic Porsche script font of the modern era. That would indeed be a trademarked logotype, no doubt, and heavily patrolled and protected by Porsche. Anyone interested in this topic can PM me to continue the discussion of this script, as I have some resources therein.

It is an established font, but it's been years since we researched it. It has been referred to as the "Speed" font, but that's not the correct name, and has been used elsewhere in the racing community.

How's this look, John?

Hmmm...

That logo looks vaguely familiar. Some brilliant hired gun working shear magic. Must have cost a fortune.

I guess I was too subtle previously;

I have the P-car style script font.
