P-Zero slick direction
I did not notice the yellow arrow that is part of the P Zero logo when I was looking for direction arrows. So all the tires are mounted backwards. At least I am consistent. How important is this or maybe they are not direction arrows. The tires stuck like crazy.

Yes, the arrows do matter, at least, according to Pirelli's instructions they do. Maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning to get my mind round this, but, if they're all backward, can't you just swap them left to right and have it all sorted? Unless what you meant by backward was that you had them mounted in-side-out.
Which compound did you use, and which sizes?

D.J.,
Yep inside out all right... D4 rear and D6 front (don't ask me why) 245 and 285 but I have room for another 10mm with these offsets.
The braking and corner speed was way improved over Hoosiers. Ambient 75 to low 80's, tire temps around 165 (after cool down lap) and hot pressure 30/32, cold 26/28 Nitrogen. Waaaaaaaay fun!
I am lobbying to have THIS SET DOT approved for the club race.

I read somewhere that if there was a directional arrow on the tire, it was to be mounted outside and in the direction of rotation. Without the arrow, the serial number was to be on the outside.
Unfortunatly, when mounting mine, the guy mounted one on backwards, but I've run about 325 miles on these used tires to date w/o problems.
Regards,
Jim

Bill:
Check your mail. I sent the Pirelli slick info. They DO have directional arrows for sure.
You've got to work the slicks like hell to get them up to temp. Especially in the new car I need 3 laps before I can start to really move.
See you soon.

That is one strong installer that could turn one of those inside out then mount it.
Sounds like you had fun with them Bill. Cool.
