Do nomex suits expire like helmets?

How long of a lifespan do they have? Do the different sanctioning bodies have different rules for how long they are good for?

Right now, no. SFI rated suits now have dates on them, so this may change in the future. A couple years ago SCCA proposed expiriation dates for SFI 3-2A/10 and higher suits, but not /1 or /5 suits. Looks like they dropped that idea, I don't see anything in the current SCCA GCR.
As long as there's no holes, frays or a brown racing stripe in the back you're good to go.

Spin off track and put a bunch of debris on the track at today's event and conduct brown racing stripe inspections at the next event? Such a requirement would surely inspire drivers to keep all four on the track and result in more enjoyment for the general body.
