Sorry to here of the carnage dan, although after unloading my mustang from the trailer I did notice some oil drops accross the front of the car and windshield. I remember you coming over and asking me after the fact. Hope to see you out there soon.

Dan, if you want, I can hook you up (before Christmas, if necessary) with a 2002 996 Coupe which will likely be for sale very soon. It's clean with low mileage and has lots of extras.

Oh. What is it? That is a set of flow matched 911 heads, aren't they swell.

Bob does that mean there is a Cayman S in some ones' future?

Hey Dan sorry about the motor.
I have a carrera 3.0 engine I have been thinking about selling.
I bought it as a spare for my car.

If you are interested shoot me an email and I will give you the details

Mr. Bill
That is a very good question. The tub is not great. Not "rust free" the only thing great about it is that it has been great to me.
I figured that eventually I would extend the Roll bar into a full cage and eliminate some of the weak points, but......

Guys I really appreciate the responses to this thread. It has had a life much longer than I expected it would, I really appreciate the love and the interest.
i am truly humbled by it all.

Some have suggested that I further the "options" process.

I still own a '86 911 Targa that I purchased a year or so ago. I bought the car "right " because it needs valve guides. It runs so good that I have been reluctant to tear it down. Now however....
This car has a ......3.2.........5 speed 915......with Limited slip......and fiberglass bumpers f/r....obviously the makins' of a fun car.
Maybe not as radical as Old Blue but......
It is an option
$4 or 5k top end rebuild ....move some suspension parts over from Blue. Seats etc. All my wheels and tires still go.....
Cut out the freakin' roll bar that I welded in two weeks ago........48hrs ready to go.....
Opinions please.
