Sorry - I failed to mention that in this thread. It was Claude Rouelle's "3-DAY RACECAR DYNAMICS & DATA ACQUISITION SEMINAR". It is partially supported by MoTeC so that is what is used in examples but it has good stuff regardless of the data system you use.

When I was doing my residency, I worked under a guy named Claude but he was Canadian and got mad if we pronounced it as "Clawd"...he preferred it to be pronounced " Clowed".....its a Canadian thing..

...still need some tutorial on the Roll Center thingy....you guys sound like your speaking about multi axis gyroscopic stuff...

Higher ride height = greater volume of flow beneath the car = greater downforce because of the underbody design???

There is always a point of diminishing returns, especially with tunnels. You need airflow to generate downforce.

Yes, off to one side. The instructor hinted that the roll center was outside of the track and he meant racetrack. As far as height of roll center, that was not discussed. Some race car designs have a roll center that is below the ground, some above.
