I've been looking for track pads for the 996 and was set on Pagid Orange or PFC 01's but came across a listing for EBC Yellow Stuff pads for the 996 as well.

They're listed as a race pads but no specific temperature ranges are given.

My brother used them as his track pads in his E36 M3 for DE's this year and didn't have any problems with them but has no other race pad experience to compare them to other pads.

Just curious if anyone here has tried them out and has any feedback.

Pagid Yellows or Blacks are far better than the Oranges.

 

What is the difference between PFC 01s and 97s???

I love my 97s...

 

O1's are a bit more agressive than 97's. They have a bit better bite when warm and can stand higher operating temperatures but give up some cold bite to the 97's.

 

Yup, agreed. I also find that the 01's are a bit easier to modulate, but that may just be personal preference.
