Gulf Racing Colors Need Paint Names, Color Codes & Manufacturers
Okay, I finally decided to have the 951 painted in the Gulf livery for the cannonball race. Can anyone tell me the paint color codes, manufacturers or even paint names? Anything that would help my body guy get the right paint colors.
Any information is welcome, old pics with good color etc.

There might be usefull info on their website; http://gulfoil.com/index.asp.
You could contact their Ad/Promo folks and see if you can get the PMS numbers.

O.k. Guns- just checked out your site, seems you are doing the U.S. race and you are starting in Atlanta like me... I am an Atlanta native, so I figured I should start in my home town. Good Luck with your build!

Holy smokes that's cool! I'll be in Atlanta on the 26th or so with the car, which will you be driving bimmer or Porsche? Its great to see other Rennlisters on the Cannonball!
I'm leaving from Atlanta so I can see my sister and my niece and a possible nephew that should be about 2 months old when the race starts.
If there's a good pub in the area (there has to be) I'll buy the first round! (BTW any pics of your car? sounds amazing from the description)
Below is a rough concept of the paint scheme MPD47 did for me. The paint will be given a very slight pearl effect to brighten it up for the more modern car.

Very Cool, I'm already so excited. Plenty of places to have a drink in Hotlanta. They have moved the location of the Atlanta start to make room for all the people. I do not think I should post the location because of everything being so tightly under wraps. pm me if you do not know.. I am running the Porsche. My pics are on my other computer. If you go into the 997 forum then go to page 5, thread called: pics for ??? , you can see the car. There is another Rennlister named Sal who is also participating. Anyway, your car looks awesome. I am a huge Gulf colors fan and love the paint job. Great Choice. I'm sure we will chat again before July. Goodluck with the build...

When I painted my tub I took the best photo I had of the color to FINISHMASTER and had them treat it like a paint chip and "read it" and then they mixed. Most citys have a auto paint company with this capacity
Probably not as pale as Gulf blue but I like it.
