Larry puts the Filth in Filthadelphia...
Adreienne, as I said above, just keep watching their shrinkage in your rearview mirror.
I love having female students, frankly. The next time we are at a Maverick, Lone Star, or Hill Country event together, I'd be honored to ride with you.

Adrienne, don't let them get to you. There's nothing sweeter than passing those people. BTW, I'm not sure if you remember/met Becky with the purple 964 race car, but she was one of my favorite instructors. And trust me, everyone respected her (and she did pass just about everyone).

I learned a while back that the blue flag is an advisory flag. If the driver in front is not heeding the flag then he's not looking or ignoring it. Either way, there's a problem. If the corner worker(s) is not throwing the blue flag when you're on his tail then you need to take that up with someone in charge of the event.
Keep on honing your skills and getting faster and people WILL move out of your way when they see you coming.
The best revenge is success!

VeloceRaptor - Cool, that would be fun!! I'm Registrar for Hill Country this year, so I'm attending all of our events. What's your car/#/name?
Yeah, I know Larry. Well, know "of" Larry. He must work for Rennlist or something, posting all the time. So, here's a go-fast pic.
Oh and George - yes, I know Becky. She instructed me at TWS a year and a half ago. Great lady, she's my hero!

Oh, Dave!! Of course! But Veloce Raptor??
I've been wanting to ride with you for YEARS!! I've been meaning to talk with Caren Cooper about this, too. I figure she'll likely have a good take on the psychology of it, ya know. I got a bunch of flack at the Lotus Owner's Group event I attended a few weeks ago. Maybe it's British Humor, dunno. I guess being the only Porsche and the only woman made me stick out of the crowd a bit, too.

In my experience the people who don't give point-bys do it to everyone equally and indiscriminately. To paraphrase a well-known cliche: Never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by inattention and cluelessness.
I've found the best way to get noticed is to be kind of aggressive and on the guy's bumper through the twisties. I prefer to hang back a little and have a greater safety margin in case the guy does something stupid, but sometimes I need to be on their butts to get noticed. A session or two of that and my car gets noticed and let by. As does every other car that looks like mine
Just be prepared for them to come look at what you've modded on your car, because that must certainly be the only reason you're faster than they are. Happens to me all the time in my Boxster when the 'vette guys walk the paddock.

A little bump drafting will get their attention My wife is also a PCA instructor (though she hasn't been on the track since being pregnant with our first son) and she'd probably tell you to laugh about it, and then get a sticker for the back of your car that reads "you just got passed by a girl."
In all seriousness, let your skills behind the wheel do the talking. If are still driving with an instructor, let them talk to the CI when a car refuses to give a passing signal. I've done this in the past and this usually corrects the problem.
