Default care and feeding of air jacks

Hi all,

I now find myself owning a car that has air jacks. Wondering if anyone has any information on the care and feeding of the air jacks.

Any kind of instruction info would be great.

Mine happen to be James Lister jacks.

Thanks

Ed

you want to keep the hook up in the hood covered up. we just got back from a weekend when it was raining and there was several ounces of water in all 3 jacks. The front one is fairly easy to remove and take apart, the back 2 take a little work to get apart but it can be done.

One aspect is to keep the working pressure down below 450 psi, otherwise airjack seals can turn inside out.. We found out the hard way
