I would think 275's would be about it on 9" rims...

In what sense - tire is too big for wheel or tire/wheel won't fit? In either case, they are running them with success.

As I said, three of the local PCA racers have done it so far (911SC, Carrera, 951), and more have plans. Fitment on SC and Carrera: big t-bars, relocate right rear oil lines, shave or roll fenders, pull fenders if necessary. Basically the same stuff as fitting a 275.

But you guys are probably better off sticking with the large diameter 275s
