If it needs to be on the West Coast, how about that new track un Utah, whats-its-name? Miller Motorsports? It sounds big enough. The biggest problem, wouldn't we know about it by now, if it was going to happen?

Manny, I think you have the right idea! It's centrally located to each of the coasters. It has the smell of a genuine racetrack with all the history and adrenaline that should be involved in a RR experience. I'm ready! Great Idea! BTW, sorry I wasn't at SP on Sunday to go bumper to bumper again.

Not that I'm know of. Getting Daytona was a major accomplishment. Took five years to swing that. As far as I know, Indy is only used for three events each year, Indy 500, F1, Brickyard 400. I heard the rest of the time it's used for testing. Still, it's nice to dream about. Short of Le Mans, I don't know of any other road course in the US that would carry the cachet that Indy currently enjoys. It may be our last holy grail
I agree...plus it's one of those places, very much like Daytona, where one could see the majority if not the entire track from one location. One can only hope!!
