Wow, it looks awesome Fred. I'll buy it back for what I sold it to you for whenever you are ready.

Can't come on the 28th - I'll be racing at Infineon with the POC & PRC.

Wow simply amazing but I understand the CUP car is a completely different ball game.
Just a quick question and you don't have to give me any numbers.....
A while ago, there was a real GT3 RS (red accent) for sale, I think it was 165K. Did you re-create the clone for alot less, less or more???

GT-3 RS and misc
4Curves - good luck at Infineon!!!
Larry - I will keep you on the "buy" list
Cway - I actually bought Larry's GT-3 and went from there. There is a long (and quite expensive) laundry list of items that are different between a GT-3 and GT-3 RS. I took it quite a bit further than a stock RS; Motons, floating hat rotors, monoballs, plexiglass, exhaust, shorten gears are the more notable (and costly) items that are above and beyond a Euro RS. Suffice to say, it was considerably more than I had originally budgeted and in my opinion, far beyond a Euro RS.
FWIW - I had looked originally into bringing a Euro RS into the country, strictly for track use. After doing a certain amount of due diligence, I passed; while race cars can be exempt from EPA and DOT pretty easily, it is my understanding that the rules are different when a european production car is brought into the country, even if it is used for racing purposes. In any event, I decided to start with a U.S. spec model and go from there.
Obviously, the RS and my car are street legal, unlike Cups. More specifically, standard cup cars do not have the RSR uprights that are pretty expensive upgrades if one were to do. The RS was produced to homologate the RSRs that currently race in the GT2 class. I would imagine that the new street RS's that will soon be produced are part of the overall 997 RSR programs that are hitting the market.
