I run a very modified 1972 911RS Clone, used about 75% of the time on the track (DE's).
Several times during the last year I've thought about my 34 year old gas tank. From a safety standpoint would a fuel cell be a smart move. Have you seen many problems with older tanks and how many have switched to Fuel Cells?
Thanks, Ben

My ex-RS Clone, built on a 71 chassis, developed a case of severe inner tank rust during the first year I owned it. Caused me to have a devil of a time at my 2nd club race until we figured out what was happening. Even then, I had to clean out my fuel filter after every session. I replaced my tank with a fuel cell and never looked back.
BTW, my 911 RS clone is now living somewhere in Minnesota. A guy named Nabil Amra bought it and is doing autocrosses and DE's with it. It's winter there now right
Say hi if you see him.
