Update on Daytona Enduro
It appears that we will be able to run three groups in lieu of four for the enduro portion of the Daytona Club Race weekend. So...for planning purposes the groups will break out like this:
Gold Group
GTA
GT1R
GT1S
GTC3
GTC4
GTP1
GT2R
GT2S
GT3R
GT3S
Race starts at 2:45PM and is the last race of the day
Purple Group
GT5R
GT5S
C
D
E
SP2
SP3
GT4R
GT4S
GTC1
GTC2
B
GTC4-EX
Race starts at 1:00PM and is the second race of the day
Orange Group
F
G
H
I
J
SP1
Race starts at 10:00AM and is the first race of the day
By moving to this format we will be able to keep the groups full which lends itself to good close racing and we finish just a little earlier so we can all start home at a reasonable time. This is subject to change if circumstances change but it looks good up to now. We will update the schedule on the website as soon as possible.
We are looking forward to having every one, travel safely and we'll see you in Daytona.

Here is some information relative to the garage area for the Daytona Weekend:
Daytona International Speedway Garage Area
The new DIS Garage Area is divided into three distinct sections –
• The Eastern (NEXTEL) section.
• The Center “Fan Zone”
• The Western (Busch) section
During our PCA Club Race Event, we will be authorized to use the Eastern and Western Sections.
DIS has identified these Sections by “COLOR” so it will be prudent for us to adopt the same terminology when referring to these areas. These colors match the building color as well as the signs that identify the specific garage number.
Therefore:
The Eastern (NEXTEL) section shall be known as the “YELLOW” area.
The Western (BUSCH) section shall be known as the “BLUE” area.
The Garage ID Signs (Numbers) display the consecutive garage number on both sides of the sign. Therefore, when viewed from one direction, only every other number is visible (i.e. 20-22-24-26…) because the next number is on the opposite side of the sign. Note that the same numbers are used in both areas so a DIS identification, for instance, would be - Yellow #25.
In the double bay sections, the Number Signs are placed in the center of the bay. Therefore, the number applies to the side on which it is placed. For instance, if the sign is numbered 25/26, the left space is number 25 and the right space is number 26.
In the single car garages, the sign is place on the dividing pillar section and the number applies to the space that it faces.
The GRID will be on the Truck Pad and entry to the grid will be at the south end. Entrance to the Track will be via the road leaving the Grid and passing just east of the Yellow Garage area and onto pit road at the old Gate 7 location.
There will be two exits, through the PIT WALL from PIT ROAD. An entrant garaged in the Yellow Area should take the first exit and those in the Blue Area should take the second exit.
After a race, any car proceeding to IMPOUND, must take the SECOND exit to the Blue Area.
There is no connecting roadway between the Yellow and Blue areas. The only means of moving between these areas is on Pit Road or the Paddock Road behind the Garage Area.
Tech Inspection and Impound will be located in the Blue Area, Garages 10,11 & 56,57.
General Car and Tow Vehicle Parking will be in the lot adjacent to the Truck Pad (Grid) area.
Absolutely NO personal cars, trucks, vans, or open trailers will be allowed to stay in either the Yellow or Blue Areas. Trailers will be parked in an allocated space on the Truck Pad.
Entry to the Speedway will be via the NEW Tunnel at the West End.

Actually I think the slicks and light weight do give the GTC1 cars an advantage on the long runs but hopefully we can stay on the same lap.
