Coastal Driving School closing:
"CDS Future
After giving careful consideration to a number of factors, Loma Prieta and Monterey Bay Regions have decided that CDS will cease operations. This will essentially happen immediately.
The entire CDS team has enjoyed the events with you all a great deal and we are sorry not to be continuing, but we hope we see you at a track event soon.

I'm sorry to hear this. I'd been with them at Buttonwillow early this year and had planned to be at SP but didn't make it.

You couldn't find a better group of Porsche nuts out there.
You can pick Hank's brain at the next GGR time trial.

Hank couldn't make the B'willow event, so I didn't get to see him in action down there. I am looking forward to seeing him at T-hill. The new track car he had built sounds pretty special.

Actually, it probably is only new to me. I'm not sure how long ago this one was launched, but I think it's the 72 tub w/tt motor. I'd lost touch with Hank about 25 years ago, before he caught the pcar bug, so I didn't get to see the 1st track car he had. I just remember him saying the new/current car is a low 1 tonner with ~ 700hp with a big wing. Sounds like he's able to run some quick times in it.
