With the advent of the electric clutch (now on the steering wheel and integral with the antistall strategy) more and more drivers find it easier to LFB. I say this in reference to not having to use a foot for clutching the car while spinning and pitting to keep the car alive.
Gil de Ferran used to use both right and left foot braking techniques. Laguna Seca being one event that he found it better to do so.
