You guys in Cali are way to selfish - already have the Historics, share the love.

Elkhart Lake - that is the place for the next reunion.

I was standing right on the grid at the Lime Rock RR, admiring Jackie Ickx as he climbed into some old RSK or something. When he fired it up I didn't realize that I was nearly leaning on the exhaust pipe and it left a ring of black on my calf that I didn't wash off for a week! Great stuff, but Roger Penske driving the 917/30 clearly couldn't stretch its legs on the short straight. Send 'em to R/A.

Have Bridestone bring a set of F1 spec rubber (slicks even) in the size of the 917/30 - see what kind of lap times the old girl could turnout.

I went to RR 1 & 2.

Brian Redman mentioned somewhere about possibly doing RR 3 in Europe - possibly LeMans, but I agree, Laguna Seca would be awesome. I'd go for sure. Are there enough hotels around Road America?

I think it will have to be at a very large place. I don't know how many were at Lime Rock, but I think there were close to 700 at Daytona. I know there were over 120 in my race group. We were spread way out. It would take at least a 2.5 mile track or bigger, plus we were really crowded at Daytona, so it would just about have to be Indy or Las Vegas. I've never been to Laugana, so I can't judge on that, but I know it would not fit at Barber, or Rd. Atlanta.

Indy would be my first choice, but I have never raced out west, and would love to do that. Somebody in this group has to know Brian Redman, or someone that knows him. Please somone find out about it.

Depends on what you consider "around". Within 45 minutes - yes. Within 10 minutes, no.

The Brian Redman International Challange has been considered the "largest" vintage race in America due to the number of entries (4 mile track holds a lot of cars). Hotel situation seams to work out fine for that event.

I just sent an e-mail to Jame Redman requesting info.

Brian Redman's website for Intercontinental Events is : http://www.gorace.com/ & the RR2 website is http://www.gorace.com/rennsport2/

I plan to go wherever it may be held.

I was there, it was SICK. Awesome stuff. I assume the "other" Reunions were equally good. I'd love to be able to attend a #3, er, 4.

We are showing Porsche Rennsport for Oct 13/14 2007 at Daytona. That is the same weekend as this year's Brumos Porsche OktoberFast at DIS. Nothing else showing up on our schedule.

No plans at this point. I meant that Laguna Seca could get me to make the drive. So could Elkhart Lake.

Actually, I will make Elkhart sometime. Just don't know when yet, but it's on my list of tracks to race on.

Looking at the pics, RR2 seems like it was just yesterday. Great memories. We all are waiting for announcement too.

"Escape to the Finger Lakes" pca zone 1 September 7-10 sounds like fun!

Cheers,
