Default Wireless tire pressure

Has anyone had any experience with the Intercomp wireless tire pressure management system? A bit limited in that it would seem that its only useful for a single set of tires, but it nevertheless seems interesting. Takes temps too.

Useful for one set of wheels, you mean?

Not exactly. It would appear from the ad copy that the transmitters are keyed to the receiver and you can't buy secondary sets of transmitters that will talk to the same receiver so you're limited to measuring with a single wheel/tire set. If you wanted data from two different sets of wheels/tires, you'd need to buy and mount a second receiver unit. For such a clever device, it seems awfully stupid to me, but the price is low enough, I might still be interested despite this limitation.

Check the Beru system, used by Audi in their racecars and street cars

personally, I find it simplest to monitor and log tyre pressures on the (Motec) ADL system, that way all the data is together and I can generate driver alerts when required

That's my point, they work with one set of wheels. It isn't like you throw them out when the tires are worn out.
