The other thread reminded me to post my updates after last outing. We did lower our pressures as planned - and she likes! Hot pressures I think were down to around 36-37psi, with cold around 27-28psi IIRC - just above Hoosiers' suggestion of 1% of vehicle weight (which would be 26).
That, plus replacing a bent trailing arm, has got us close to back on our pace; a little more driver conditioning and a little more camber, probably a little more rear bar as well, and we should be creating some serious problems for that pesky blue Bimmer...

i had a guy with me from the speed world challenge series yesterday at kershaw (cmp in sc) before he flew out to utah for the race. he didn't initially believe my pressures (thought too low) but by 2p he left and stated it was even best a # or 2 below what i thought. his best times were hot 33/34 front and 34/35 rear. i have 18" rims and run 315 in rear and 245 in front on a street gt3. anything over 36/37 anywhere on my car and it was trouble... it was fun, but won't work out in a race but i did get some great practice drifting as he sent me back out on them to learn the feel of good, bad, and sh*t.
fyi - i did notice before on the side wall it has a warning to not exceed 40 psi

Has there been any more experience with GT3s and R6s since this thread? What are you finding your best hot pressure is? I run a 997 GT3 and will be running R6s for the first time this weekend.
