Racing / driving backwards
Ok, the "breaking backwards" thread brought up something I think about all the time.
What track would be your #1 choice to drive in reverse (not going in reverse, but opposite of the direction you normally drive) - most NA tracks counter clockwise.
I think Road America would be fun - would make turn 14 (now turn 1) quite the challenge, then into 13A & B going downhill into Canada? Sounds like fun!
This is assuming safety would be addressed making the “other” direction just as safe as the current rotation.

How about the uphill at Lime Rock? I don't know quite how you'd get the car turned there as you flew over the hill.

#1 VIR Down the esses! Go light drop into a sweeperand then uphill after the front straight? Big brass ones needed.
#2 WG the boot then climbing out and rounding into the bus stop then down the esses into #1. #3 MO. off camber left coming out of thunder ally. Kinda like Madness? The uphill back straight would be a bitch with 90 hp.

I definitely second the S'es at the Glen as providing some serious sphincter contraction and going into T-7 (toe) would be like going thru T-9 in the proper direction. Just get thru clean and move on to the next one.
And going into T-17 at VIR into T 16 and 15 any thing less than 500 ponies would need to pack a lunch. Kurt, you may want to look at meal plan. Hey aren't you building a hot new motor?????

Neat idea, we have 3 tracks here in So Fla can't even imagine running Sebring backwards.
Homestead yikes coming off either straight!!
Interestingly Moroso does run the motorcycle races "backwards"

I've heard people used to run Limerock backwards. If you did a two day event, you ran one day forward and one backwards. At Rennsport we ran a golf cart backwards on Sunday. It was interesting. Six people in a golf cart trying to go up the downhill........

I've run at the Streets of Willow Springs both directions on consecutive days, and it's really different. Decreasing radius corners become increasing radius corners, really good braking zones become iffy places to accelerate, and some walls get MUCH closer to the track. I've run Buttowillow both ways also, and it seems that I prefer whichever direction I ran the track first. Both tracks are 1-2 seconds faster one way than the other, which I found interesting.

The Skip Series has a "Memorial" race at the end of their race weekends (a real bargain -- one or two hundred bucks for an extra race). They are often run backwards.
I know what would be the least interesting -- Road Atlanta. The first turn would be a hillclimb
