Here is the official summary with the results for Qualifying 2. This qualifying was done before Race 1 so there may be some no shows for Race 2.

The Americans had the greater adjustment to make at Indy as they had to install the ceramic brakes to race at this event. None of these cars had this brake setup prior to this race. So that with limited track time, rain, a dirty track and manual brake bias made it very tough for the American runners to adjust.

Yes unfortunately once again Alzen proves that his fantastic driving skills are used too aggressively. I have yet to see a race where he has not taken or attemtped to take someone to the green

As usual however, the Supercup does not disappoint when it comes to action

PORSCHE MICHELIN SUPERCUP RACE #2 POST-RACE QUOTES:

ALESSANDRO ZAMPEDRI: "It was an awesome race for me after the bad day I had yesterday. I was really determined to get it on the podium. I had a fantastic start, moved up and then the accident between (Uwe) Alzen and (David) Saelens helped me to put me in second position. I gave every single thing I had the whole race from lap one to the end to get (Richard) Westbrook, but (there was) no chance. I was quite pleased with the team. They had to work all night to fix the car after yesterday's crash. This podium (finish) is dedicated to them. It's our first of the season." (About if he could have caught Westbrook if he had a few more laps): "The only way I could get him was if he would make a mistake. He didn't and he won it." (About his history at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway): "There's a lot of emotions going through this place when you drive here. I have a special feeling. I have a lot of good memories and bad memories. It is great."

RICHARD WESTBROOK: “I can't really speak for anyone else. All I can really do is my own race, and the other guys are losing their heads. But I had to keep my cool because I had Alex Zampedri coming, who is very, very quick around this track. He was right behind me the whole race, and if I would've made one mistake, he would've gotten me. So I just concentrated on getting a nice clean exit out of the corners so that he couldn't get a draft on me down the straight. And just to get two wins at this fantastic arena is a dream come true. The car's been great all weekend, apart from the wet Friday practice, but we knew it wasn't going to rain today, so we can forget that. But other than that, two poles and two wins, you can't get much better than that. I couldn't leave this country happier.”

PATRICK HUISMAN: “It should have been a good one yesterday, as well. We were second quick to start yesterday, but unfortunately, Uwe Alzen decided to pull me off when he out-braked himself and took the second or third car out of the race. But I knew I had a good car today. I did make a very small change according to Alex (Zampedri's) experience on the track, and it was good for me. Almost perfect, but not strong enough to challenge the first two guys, but I'm happy with my first podium finish this season.” (About incident between Uwe Alzen and David Saelens): “I had a good start, and I came through well where the accident happened. And again, it was Alzen again. He's been in Supercup now, he's been back since a year and a half, and all the podiums he's had and all the cars that he's been racing against, there's always cars flying off track. So I think it's time to take some action now."
