Default Pittsburgh Vintage GP BMW/Porsche Challenge

Is anyone attending the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix races at BeveRun July 7-9? There is a BMW/Porsche Challenge race that, so far, is poorly subscribed. PCA rules apply to PCA racers.

Looks pretty cool. I emailed them to get more details. Always fun to beat upon some BMWs

For those of you who thought about attending this event, you missed a terrific weekend. BMW put on a low key event and welcomed the Porsche crowd with open arms. The racing was tight, close, competitive all weekend. As far as I know, there was NO contact the entire weekend. Dan Jacobs was the quickest car (does this surprise anyone). all weekend.

Also, it was fantastic to see cars from the 50's through 70's at speed in close competition. An original MK II GT-40 showed up along with AC Cobras Ford GT 350's etc....

Also, for charity donations, spectators paid $10 for a 1 lap ride in race cars at speed. They asked us racers to donate our cars/time to take out the spectators for a "spirited ride". There was a line 100 + long each day. Great idea!!
