Is the the newer generation Azenis? I know they just recently revamped the tire, but haven't heard about them for track use. Autocrossers always love them though.

yes, I have heard nothing but glowing positives for the 615s in Autocross use... and mixed reviews for track use (basicly, beginners seem to like them just fine and some intermediates think they are just fine but all others say they get greasy as hell after 1 or 2 laps in a track setting.. and that includes miata users)

Shaved 615's are really quite good on the track, but full tread get squirmy after about 3-5 laps. They still hook up well, but the confidence goes down enough that you will back off. I drove them on a RX-8.
