Default Changing Bilstein Escort Cup rear shocks mounting bushings to spherical bearings?

I just got a set of used Bilstein Escort Cups and am planning on running them on my 951 racecar without the rear tbars. Has anyone looked into having the rubber mounting bushings on the rear shocks replaced with spherical bearings? Is this something Bilstein can do?

Thanks,

I called Bilstein today and they can do this for $100 /shock and it takes about 2 weeks.

Does that price include the bearing? I think I got a higher price. Sending the shocks to Bilstein to do the conversion is the way to go. I did it locally and it was not any cheaper and probably not as nice.

They will disassemble the shocks to do the conversion, so you can ask them to revalve them, if needed, according to the spring rate you plan to run.

Yep, it included the spherical bearing itself. They said it would be $90-$100. I agree - can't go wrong with having Bilstein take care of it.
