Default Anyone here use Ledas?

I gather they are more common to Porsches then some other cars. I've been offered a set by my sponsor though I'm not sure just which model they are.
I'd just like to here some feedback from those who have experience with them and which model.

Thanks

I just put a set on my 951. Only 3 track days so far, but I have no complaints. I got the 24 position adjustable oil units. First time out with them at WGI I knocked 6 seconds off my fastest lap time from last year (last year using the stock original suspension.)

Hey;

A lot of folks are using them these days. If you are looking for highly adjustable shocks, they are the best bang for the buck out there, by a long shot. They work very well regardless of the model.

Thanks for the replies so far, hope to hear more.
My concern with Ledas is that I was under the impression that they needed rebuilding more often then most other brands. True?
Is there a USA (in the Northeast would be great) shop that rebuilds and re valves Ledas, or do they have to go back to the UK?

Karl Potel at Racers Edge is the US dist. for Ledas. I dont know if he does the rebuild or if they get sent out. As for rebuild, I have been running a set for 3 race seasons with no problems (appx 11 race weekends and 9 DE weekends) Many of the local PCA/NASA 944 racers have the Ledas and I dont think anyone has had a rebuild. I think they are a very nice set up vs. the big $$ of the JRZ or Motons.

Default What am I missing?

I've seen the Moton Club Sports for 2900. Am I missing something? I thought the Ledas were close to that price.

Missing something?

No. Didn't realize Moton had come down that far. Seems they must have figured out they were a bit overpriced. Didn't they used to be about $5k? Guess they were overpriced.

Leda systems start at around $2200 and go past $4. Karl @ Racer's Edge will rebuild them for you, no problem. I've got 5 seasons on mine with no problems, although I'm probably close to due (minor leakage). None of my customers have had any issues. They are a good piece for a good price. Not fancy. They just work.

Moton Club Sports for the 944 series are around $2900-$3k excluding springs.

Yea, the Moton Club Sports can be had for under $3k. That's just a two way though. The Moton race shocks are still about $6k
Thanks for all the replies everyone. I have a set of full race Ledas coming my way complements of my sponsor. Should have them in a week or so. Car won't be ready till late July so it will be a while until I can play with them
