Default Where can I buy helmet in Boston (or MA area)?

I just got back from HMS motorsport in peabody, but all they had was a couple bells that didn't fit, and either huge or tiny G-force's, nothing in between. Plus their cheapest was the gforce at 280. Where can I go in the Boston area to pick up a snell 2005? I'd rather not order online and would like to try them on before I buy.

Not really Boston, but Driving Impressions trackside store at Lime Rock Park down in CT has a few different helmets/manufacturers.
I drove down there to try on/buy mine (OMP Toursimo helmet)

There is the Race Depot in Marlboro, just off 495 about 1.5 miles west on RT20. Small shop but you can see what they carry online and give them a call to see what they have in stock. If asked they may even be able to give you some additional aternate shops.

On price you will be had pressed to find any full face 2005SA for much less then $250. Most are in the $280-$400 range.

If you are just trying out AutoX for the first time, most regions have loner helmets that you can use for the first year or so. They usually will have a couple at DE events also, but you should contact the race chair or register first to verify.

CCCP:

I bought my helmet at this company: http://www.theracedepot.com/

They are located in Marlboro on Route 9. Good selection, reasonable prices, friendly knowledgable people to help. Hope this helps!
