Get a insulator for the line or that first drink will be a warm one ! Back packing stores sell them cheap.

Norm, I do use the bite valve but what I do is that I strap the tube to my harness and (now) only put it in my mouth to drink during yellows or the odd moment where I have enough time to do it.
Little sore is an understatement........
I bought some drybreaks for it in hopes of installing in the bite valve inside the helmet but have not done so since I'm afraid of damaging the integrity of the helmet by drilling a hole right in front. Having said that, I've seen a lot of pro's helmets that have a similar setup.
I have a short video of a lap of Daytona in my 2 liter. I'm looking for a site to upload it so you guys can see it (nothing like your Sebring drive but, heck its only a 2 liter ). More info to come.
