6 events? How about 12 run sessions! That's all mine ever lasted. I wore out a set of Hoosier rears in 10 sessions at Summit Point. Of course the harder you run them, the faster they wear. I asked Leh Keen how long a set of tires lasted on his cup car when he was really going full bore, and he replied "45 minutes". Ouch!

What exactly didn't you like about the Yokos? They're a very popular compromise (longevity-$-speed) tire. If Pirellis are really going for $1400 a pop then Michelins (non-Cup) are the cheapest tire on your list (hint ).
