Track Claw
Has anyone used the traction "enhancers" like Track Claw or Formula V? Do they work? I was wanting to try it on last years Hoosiers which have plenty of tread but not a lot of grip. Any comments are appreciated.

The only people I've seen use them are circle track racers, from what I've heard they do work. One of the bigger Nascar teams (I think it was Roush) got busted last year using them, I don't think those guys would risk it if it didn't give them an advantage. I've also thought about trying them to revive some older tires but the "enhancers" themselves aren't that cheap so I haven't tried it yet. I also wonder how long the increased grip lasts, if it wears off part way through the session. If you do it let us know how they work.

I've been using Formula V for the last year and they seem to make a big difference on older tires. I soak with a smal cigar paint rollar each night and wrap them with saran wrap for 3-4 night so that I'm finished a day or two before I leave the for the track. They'll last all week end and then I repeat for the next event. Formula V is about $34 a gallon and will last for 4-5 total treatments..

I've been soaking my old Hoosiers with Formula V. Works great. I put 2 coats on each night, starting 4-5 nights before an event. Works pretty good I've found.
I put mine on the same way A930Rocket does.
