We spent $800 on mufflers for the late model GT3 cup cars and they were still WAY too loud, 90dB is impossible at 8K
LRP gets VERY few un-muffled days,
Really hurts CVR IE GT3cups and I'm sure many other stay away in droves. Who can blame them factory engineered muffler setup too loud and who wants to screw up an expensive race motor by putting massive back pressure on it with some home made supper quiet muffler setup on it.

Kinda surprised such a low enrollment thus far. Still got a month to go though. I was wondering what the deal was with Jupeman, thought I saw they had him in GTC1. No sign of Roy yet, as of right now all I gotta do is finish to podium, lol. Last year finishing was a mission, my car Should be running much better this season, time will tell. You doing any DE's prior to race at LRP? Ill be there 3-30 and with NNJR, want to officially meet ya.

Charlie and I are both doing the 4/22 day with HCR, but that's about it before the race (once again, he will probably be in my car...how did I let this happen
)I expect that the remaining race spots will fill up over the next couple of weeks. Right now we are at only ~55% of last years total, but over 1/2 of those people signed up in the last 7-8 days. On the bright side, looks like I'll be on the D podium for sure

Actually, the problem is not with the shop, but the delay in getting the motor, which we finally have, and then with the machining of the heads. I would have liked Geoffrey Ring's guy to do the heads, but then I probably wouldn't see the car till June (according to Geoffrey). The car will probably be done in 3 more weeks or so, but flying out to Denver, and then getting the car transported back here will put it at mid-May.
