Default tools needed for alignment/settings...

I would like to know what are all the neccessary items needed to do chassis set-up. I have a full-coil over 951 w/ camber plates. The items I "think" I need are toe plates, camber/caster gauge, tool for 944/951 rear toe. What am I missing and need to know to do my own set ups...

With the car rolling on the floor, it is impossible to get to the adjustments. Even with a lift (I have one) it is difficult to adjust suspension settings because the car must be lowered and rolled before checking the settings again. Check this for alignment equipment. With this type of bolt-on plate the car is settled and there is access for adjustments.

I fabricated simplified plates based on the sherline plates and they are fantastic. I have an AutoCAD drawing of my design that you are welcome to if you can view .dwg or .dxf.

To use with these plates, I needed to cut an open end 27mm wrench to 7" long to fit between the rear eccentric bolt that adjusts toe and camber and the floor.
