Looks like the car hit the pole aft of the cockpit. Very lucky, a few feet the other way and we'd be talking about a double fatality...

And the guy ran from the police? Where does he think he's going to hide? Oh Darwin won - this guy is going to do jail time.

It's got to take all of 30 seconds to find out the owner. It's not like people who can buy these cars have no 'footprint' in society. Wallet > brains.

I wonder if it's totaled? Maybe a back half can be found at a salvage yard.

Just saw this story on the 11PM news even here in the Bay area. No new info. Guess it's not everyday a "million" dollar car gets smacked up...

Oh yep, just read the 25 pages on FerrariChat, left a party in beverly hills, raced an SLR, got airbourne at 150+ into the pole.

it was even on the news here in CT!
He should have put a BUDWEISER logo on the car to make some $
Sounds to me like the "passenger" was actually driving, and the car was not even registered in the usa. Guy is obviously rich, may be famous too which is why they are not releasing his name. Seems to me when I go to Ca I see dozens of expensive cars driving around with no license plates. Can't remember the last time I saw a car without a plate in CT, different laws?
