Cara Coat Iridium coated visor

Cara Coat Iridium coated visor
Has anybody used this type of visor? It is supposed to "significantly cut glare in changing light conditions at the racetrack and afford the user not only with improved visibility but also reductions in eye strain that can be highly distracting as well as dangerous while racing or driving at high speeds."
I am considering getting one for the new 2005 spec Arai helmet.
Thanks for your help.

They make more sense to open wheeled racers. I've been disappointed at how little difference I could pick up between metal coated and smoked lenses on sun glasses while driving. I've used a dark smoked helmet visor in the summer. They don't look as good, but work as well IMO as the more expensive metal coated visors for closed cockpit driving.

I have it on my new Arai GP5K. It worked great at Sebring. To be honest I bought it because it looked so cool with my painted helmet. I also have a clear and smoked shield. But most likel will only keep the Blue (since they make multiple colors) Cara Iridium shield.
