65 over 40 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 20-30% chance of rain Saturday.

Hey Mac.... I'm trying to find that restaurant with the live gator again. I want to take our northeast crew there. I might come find you for directions, will you be with Autometrics?

Yes Mitch, I'll be with the Autometrics group. I don't know if that restaurant is still open though. I think it was called the Watering Hole. It was located on the west side of Hwy 27 about a mile or so north of the Hwy 98 turnoff for the track. It certainly had a lot of character. You guys from up north don't get to see a lot of alligators...not to mention us Southern Rednecks in action! LOL

Yep still there, but remember, they only take cash.

Again I want to put in a plug for the Airport diner. They have great food and are great owners. Go there for lunch and help support them so they can survive the off season.

Thanks

Mitch and all

At the risk of having to stand in a long line, and having Inglot and Knoblach kill me for this, but the breakfasts are great there too.

Watering hole and the gators are still open. Airport diner my personal favorite for track food but they are having difficulty in meeting one hour turnover; in last three Sebring events. Does everyone agree that best evening chow still at the Inn?

Jack, is that the Inn on the Lake? Chicanes I think is the name. That place is cool just to go see all the race photographs.

Mike, you coming down this year? Aren't you retired by now? First I've heard of the Airport Diner. I'll have to give it a try. I'm going for full nostalgia this year and staying at the Kenilworth Lodge "Resort". Any place that's been around for as long as I've been alive is worth experiencing at least once. They even have wireless computer access.

What a year this will be...

The Watering Hole definitely has the best steaks in town. On the other hand, if Prime Rib is your favorite, you will want to go to The Inn on the Lakes. They have the best Prime Rib around with Annies Club 98, a small place just east of town on Route 98 coming in with a very close second!

I have yet to try the Airport Diner but will give it a try this weekend for sure. On the other hand, how long will the wait be if I walk in and order?

Mac, Yes I've had breakfast & lunch there( @ the Golf Course), Nothing special. typical golf club fare, but then again, I've Not had dinner. The resurants mentioned above would probably be better choices, even the Outback has good fare, but get there as early as possible.
