WTB: 993 or 964 for DE use
Well, I have about decided to move up from my 1984 911 to a 964 (1993 or 94 C2) or 993 (any year). I am interested in a good condition (not beat to heck) DE car appropriate for Instructor run group; likely candidate will include:
Limited Slip
Full or 1/2 cage
Lowered
Improved suspension
Improved exhaust
Nice if no sunroof but those can be hard to find Lightened is nice but not necessary No crash/repaint; I am looking for a nice, stable car - no stories or track beasts Nice if it is in the Northeast but not absolutely critical Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
The 1984 track prepared car is good for street or track; perfect for a White run group driver looking for a dedicated track car. Price will be in the lower $20s I believe (India Red/black - 64k miles; has Mass Flow intake, roll bar, 2 Recaro SRDs, 5-point harnesses, improved suspension and exhaust, removed a/c but included with car) Thanks for listening

Have you checked out all the classifieds on line of all chapters in the Northest? I saw a couple of track 993s. There may be a couple at Sebring next weekend, if you want me to keep an eye out for you, let me know. I'm out shopping for something along the lines of a race car anyway.

Hi Mike
I have looked at our Northeast region and the NNJR site, but perhaps should be looking at others (like CVR, Rennsport, NY Metro) - thanks for the reminder.
Have fun at Sebring and yes, please keep an eye open for me.

Rick,
My car is part way there. It is listed on classifieds and I can send photos.
Thanks,

Rick, would like to correspond privately but you do not accept PM. Send me a message at stacy.freeman@comcast.net, thanks.

You can check out mine, but I am just starting to part it out. The heads are now being done and the engine is out. I have offered the gearbox for swap on the 993 forum. It has a sunroof and has seen about 12 track days. Reach me at ron@stanleyorchards.com
