Goodyear Eagle RS tires anybody run em
In my quest for the perfect track tire I found the RS listed as a new tire on a dealer website. I haven't seen or heard of anyone running them nor can I find out any info on them. I run a all wheel drive turbo and the size and diameter are important and these seem to fit the bill.
These are NOT RS-A's but R compound 3/32 circuit tires. Appreciate any info.

If this is the current version of the older Goodyear GS-RS (their 'DOT' race tire), they're a great tire but have a pretty short life as far as heat-cycles/stick go. The GS-RS had stick equal to or better than the Hoosier, but after 4-6 heat cycles, they were done. Plenty of rubber left, but the compound had degraded...still driveable, but a whole lot less grip. Great race tire, lousy track day tire.

I'm not sure if its meerly a continuation tire as the sizes are new. I agree with you on the past Goodyears, stick like glue, but forget about heat cycles. Sounds like its a new for this season version. I'll call Carroll Shelby tires and see if they know anything.

You are right, it seems they are aimed to Porsche sizes. It would be very interesting to see... Its about time for another player to come into the market for us.
