Not many good 18in sizes left (rear 275 and 285). Check out hoosier tire web site under DISCONTINUED. There is also free shipping for online orders.
Track junkies stock up!!!! (about a 70.00 per tire savings vs. the new 05's)

Hoosiers wear like a ice cream cone on a July day compared to Corsas/MPSC
If you want fast for a weekend (ie race) Hoosiers are the tire of choice. If you want a tire that willl last for DE weekends (multiple) MPSC are the way to go.

Eric:
What do you run for a DE weekend or other than a race?
Thanks,
Mike

David, I agree with Eric. You don't need Hoosiers unless you are racing. One weekend is all you will get out of them. I'm planning to do sprints on Hoosiers and enduros on MPSC.

I noticed the Hoosier site is out of some sizes (e.g. 275/40-17). But, found what I was looking for on the Tire Rack site at discounted prices. Happy hunting.

I run old Hooisers. I have stacks and stacks of hoosiers that are past race ready but still good for DE. Granted,I dont do that much DE anymore.
I have 2 sets of old Hoosiers (6-8 heat cycles) mounted up on my rims, use them for practice and warm up. Throw on the stickers for Q and use the set from the last race Q session as my race tires.
I really dont care for the MPSC's even for practice. The feel is so different, it does not make sense to practice on a tire I will never race on. Time on the track is so limited and expensive, I choose to practice as close to real race conditions as possible.
A really worn hoosier is fun to slide around and will mimic what the tire will feel like at the end of a 90min enduro!

You are right George, clearly the Hoosiers are not for me. Since I am driving strictly in DE events, Corsas, or MPSCs seem most appropriate based on these posts. Thanks for keeping me in line.

For striclty DE events you might also check out the Toyo RA-1. I hear they last even longer then MPSC and performance is equal or better. I'm planning to try them this season.

I haven't been able to find the Toyos in 285 or 295/30/18 that I need for the rears. I have only used the Corsas, but my next set will probably be the MPSC which should coincide with the warmer weather.
