The Hoosier is not suitable for highway use. Tire engineers claim that Hoosier is using some kind of smoke and mirrors to obtain DOT certification and if they construct the casing the same way Michelin, Toyo, Kumho, Pirelli, etc. do their DOT-R then it would be a dog at the track.

The MPSC is a much better choice if you need speed and street-ability.

Also you don't want to get caught in the rain with Hoosiers on your car for the long ride home. Not that MPSC's are great in the wet, they are much better.
