AIM Mychron Light TG Help
Hi,
I have installed this unit in my car but the cable to the IR receiver is only about 2 feet long. Thitimer is designed for Motorcycle use I guess?
I plan on contacting AIM sometimes soon but meanwhile has anyone purchased aversion with a longer cable or how did you get around this? (possibly slice the cable and extend?)

You do have the short cable version that is for a motorcycle or a Formula Car. The ideal one for sports car applications comes with an 8-9 ft wire connecting the receiver to the display unit. I would not cut and splice the wire.
