Default Hoosier R3S04 & R3S03 setup and air Q

I just went "end of life" on my Hoosier R3S04's. I'm running 275/40 & 315/35 -17's on my 930.

Not one to pass on a good deal, I bought a set of R3S03's during last years Hoosier warehouse sale.

For the 04's I've been running hot pressures at 37 front and 39 rear with camber at -3 front and -2 on the rear.

What should I change to get the most out the R3S03's?

For DE use I don't think I would worry about the alignment, might flip the tires on the rim once you use them for a few days. In my experience I have ran higher pressures on the S04's than you (42-44lbs), on the S03's hot pressures right at 40lbs seemed to work well.

I've heard the S04's need 3-4 pounds more pressure than the S03's. I ran a mixed set that way without any issues.

I run 04's (275/335) on a 2400lb car. they seem to work best at 38-40lbs hot. In de's i get 10 lbs of growth with air and in a hotly contested race i can see 12-13 psi growth.

I had a very long talk with the guys from Hoosier about the "new" way to heat cycle and prolong the life of the O4's and we talked about the new 05 coming soon

Andy,

What's the "new" way to heat cycle the 04's?

My first track session with the 04's was a short 15 minutes before I pulled them off and let them sit for a week.

I had close to 40 heat cycles in this set (8 track days and 5 a/x's) before I corded the outside of the rears...
