The rotors (solid OEM Turbo S) on my car looked not unlike Tim's after about 6-7 DE's last year. After that they didn't change at all for probably ten events. Then at a recent event feedback through the wheel became very apparent during one session. The car still stopped fine, just shaked like crazy while doing it. That was the signal to me the rotors were shot. All the while I checked them between every session to monitor their condition. I always carry spares and changing rotors is a 30 minute job with the right tools

Although I may agree with you if it was another vendor, StopTech do not play that way. They have an excellent rep and as it is their product, would be able to say without a dought if they were safe or not.

I can see that point.. we just replaced rotors where the after the weekend the cracks were wide enough (spread apart) enough that they cut up the pads like razors and could cut up your fingers like razer blades if you skimmed along the face of the rotor.... aka.. replaced immediately!!!

I think replacing your rotors is wise. Besides the 996 Cup and Radical, your car was probably pulling the most g's deccelerating at the last Gingerman DE.
