Default Cherry red, glow in the dark rotors

On TV you can see racers really heating up rotors. Glowing red!!! Since I've never done a DE in the dark, I don't know if I'd or any other DEer would get them that hot! Would I/we??

If I did , other then the hairline cracks between rotor hole, is there anything (pad failure, etc) that could happen, or are mine getting the same use and I just didn't know??

those glowing red ones tend to be either ceramic and/or floating rotor so they won't warp...

So if my normal GT3 rotors did, I'd be in trouble??

nice video... non-floating rotors are more prone to warping... but it doesn't mean they will warp for sure either....

I guess I need to get out to the track at night more often. I mean I knew the brakes and rotors got hot, but I didn't know they got that red so quickly!!! I've seen heat soaked rotors at Sebring on race cars while they were running at night. I guess I didn't have the lighting contrast to be able to see them during daylight though it is intuitive that the temps would be the same!!! I guess hard running, high speed DEs would have the same effect!

That is impressive!
