All model 20 economy HANS are $795 and all model 30 economy HANS are $1050. All model 20 professional HANS are $1050 and all model 30 professional HANS are $1515.

Our intent is to get these crucial safety devices into the hands of people who need them, not just racers but DE participants and track event junkies. When coupled with properly installed 5, 6 or 7 point harnesses, a HANS device controls the driver’s neck and head in an impact to reduce the chances of a severe or fatal injury.

what is the difference between economy and pro? and I assume you need 4 point or more for these?

I believe the difference is material they are constructed with and weight. The Pro version is about 8oz. lighter if memory serves..

When you get to the point where you are considering the HANS device there are 3 other things that go along with it.
1. A racing seat, current FIA certified seat preferred. So that the shoulder harness is able to be mounted and run correctly.
2. A roll bar/cage. So that in the event of a roll over the roof will contact the bar/cage first and not your helmet/head.
3. A SFI and or FIA certified racing 5/6/7 point harness. When building cars for the track 4 point belts are not acceptable because as you tighten the shoulder belts the lap belt tends to come up off the hips. Please remember to install one for the passenger as this is required with some if not all regions/organizations.
The list of three is what we have been reccomending for many years.
