Hey Katie,

I bet I saw you guys at the track, but didn't put 2 + 2 together. I'm the guy with the black lab pup ("Jack").

Sorry, we didn't get to visit with you. See you next time.

Richard (& Jack)

Hey! That was me (and Tucker, and Jupe, and 38D, and the kids, etc. etc. etc.). Jack is a great dog. We'll see you again!

I dunno. Guess the official results will clear this up for me.

Richard

Roy Chong won the yellow group in a highly modified GT3S 951. He lapped everyone up to 10th place. A 993 Supercup would be in GTC2 not in C.

Yes, there were only 3 people in GTC1. John's engine crapped out on the last lap.

John,

What's the prognosis - or is it too early to tell?

Colin,

Roy was certainly flying around Mosport.

What caused your long pit stop?

It was a comedy of errors:

1) Me & my pit buddy came in too close to one another, so we didn't have enough helpers
2) My visor fell off so I had to take my helmet off to put it back on
3) We had a fuel spill that had to be cleaned up
4) I pitted on the last yellow lap, so ~ 2/3rds of my stop was under green

Net net, I spent an extra 2mins 30 secs in the pits. Without that, I might have been a bit higher. When I went into the pits I was 4th, and when I came out I was 29th! Despite the long stop, the race was still a ton of fun (man am I glad I got that cool suit!)

So you're saying Jupeman hogged the pit crews? How selfish of him. He apparently does not know the meaning of "sportsmanship". We will have to dole out paddock justice at the next meeting.

Easy there, that same pit stop cost me 2nd overall (I dropped to 13th and fought my way back to 5th by race end). Mmm, 8 minute pit stops...

So far we're averaging a solid 2+ minutes over the mandatory 5.

We need to get better!

I actually felt we were better, aside from the one issue. The cool suit helped a ton, as I was not about to die from heat stroke when I gassed 'er up. I do plan to break down the pit timing off the tape to see where improvement can be gained. Obviously spotting the field 2+ minutes is not good!
