Default Clean Rubber Marks With EASE!

This product is incredible and if you don't use it, you are missing the easiest, fastest way to clean rubber marks, bugs, and almost anything off your car.

Klean-Strip Automotive Adhesive Remover Wipes

They are available in Wal-Mart and other stores. They wipe on with no pressure and the most difficult rubber marks are gone in 10 seconds tops, most wipe away instantly!

No more NuFinish, rubbing, scrubbing, .... They are simply amazing, and I have no affiliation. All you guys owe me big.

Doesn't that remove the wax on the car? I tried some stuff like that and felt that it did.

As another alternative, I've had great luck using Wheel Wax to remove the marks. Also, they all come off when I touch up the car with my Porter Cable.

It has alcohol and propylene glycol methyl ether so yes, it will strip wax. I just clean and rewax the area. I use Rejex so waxing is as easy as it gets also.

I wash the car to remove all the dirt then wax. The wax disolves the tire scuffs as I rub it in. I am not a super clean car type so this might not the the best way but it is easy.

I second just using wax to remove the tire marks--works great for me, and it's only one step (after washing)--

Kurt, you still need to scrub. With the wipes, it's a wipe. Faster, easier, and safer for the paint. Abrasion is bad, no matter what and the solvents in the wipes are not aggressive to paint.

I generally try to stay in front of the pack to avoid the rubber

When I begin to lap the field then I pass quickly to avoid time in the debris field

I give those wipes a try. thanks for the tip!

I have been using Maguire's "Cleaner Wax", which doesn't reguire much rubbing if the car was waxed prior to the event. It seems to have a fine abrasive in it, but doesn't leave marks. Also works well when some clown leaves some of his/her paint on your car or truck in a parking lot.....

You can also use the citrus based cleaners (paint/clearcoat/graphics safe).

Xenit is an aerosol (same company as Invisible Glass, Stoners IIRC).

Porsche Tequipment Bug and Tar remover is excellent as well, spray on, sit, wipe off. It is very similar to P21S total auto wash....may be the same product, just rebranded.

I've never tried WD40, but I do have gallons of the stuff....it is the standard kart cleaning solution of choice!

In my experence not so with regards to extra rubbing. I will have to look to see the brand of wax I use but there is no extra rubbing when I wax. There is something in the paste wax I have at home that acts as a good solvent on the rubber marks. Again don't look to me for car paint care. I wash and wax 2 or 3 times a year if it needs it or not and the front end is now about 20% track rash and rockchips.

Even with only 90 HP I do end up pushing some folks through the corners enough to get a nice set of track tire graphics.

There is a solvent-based cleaner/wax made by Northwoods called "One Touch". It lives up to it's name. It is in a spray-on format. Rubber wipes right off and you get a quick painless wax job to boot. Check it out @ www.northwoodstm.com. It works just as good (even better, perhaps) on 3m vinyl as well. If you have some heavy bug hits, a quick spritz with a quick detailer or Windex first makes the job go even faster. I can completely detail my Cup car post-race in 20 min..

I'll try it soon.

Also, there's a very good product line that includes an effective cleaner wax call "poorboys". I think their site is www.poorboysworld.com. The company is local here in New York, but no retail outlet store, so I order on-line.
