Default Cool Shirt washing?

Now that my Cool Shirt has a dozen DE's on it, how do I wash it? Anybody have any directions? Thanks,

Jim

Turn the shirt inside out. Hand wash in cold water with Woolite. DO NOT WRING OUT. Lay flat to dry. Be very very careful with it while washing.

I hope that advice helps.

cheers

I just throw mine in the washer after every weekend I use it. I then lay it out on a towel to dry. Been doing that for two years with no problems.

I used mine for the first time recently and after wearing it for 2 days I was wondering....Does anyone wear a t-shirt under the cool shirt?

Thanks guys.

I've used mine with/without a T-shirt and my Carbon X gear. Both on top and underneath. Guess you have to decide how cool you want to be.

I just bought a Cool Shirt and the washing instructions say: "turn inside out and place in a garment net and wash on delicate cycle. Hang dry."

I have had my FAST cool Shirt over 3 years, I was told to turn it in side out, use the net bag that came with it and wash on gentle cycle with ALL clear. Living in South Fla. It really works. I use a "wicking" t-shirt And it gets so cool that I cycle it on and off except in the pits. FAST makes a great product.

Don't neglect the inside or you may have a nice layer of black slime in the spring. I run diluted isopropyl alcohol through the hoses. You can just connect the shirt, run the pump and fill it with some and then drain as much as you can out. I made a spray bottle with connectors so that I can clean out lines and shirts separately.

I usually dump some bleach in the cooler with some water and run that thru the shirt before washing or storing. The sludge that ends up in the tubes will slow down the water flow if you don't keep after it. Otherwise just toss it in the washer inside out on the delicate cycle and hang dry.

We wash and dry ours inside a pillow case using Molecule Wash detergent. I seem to recall reading somewhere that putting it in a pillow case is easier on the tubing. But who knows?

Garment bag with molecule. I have probably washed it 50+ times and it is still in good condition.

I use the mesh bag from my race suit and wash it in Woolite. I do have a spare set of connectors and blow out all the lines/hoses at the end of the weekend.
